Memory is the default
Typing a salary or adding a logo does not send document content to an application server. Editing and export run locally. Static hosting still receives ordinary requests for pages and application assets.
Saving is your choice
Save draft on this device explicitly stores a document in your current browser. Remember company stores employer details separately. Local storage is not encryption and is unsuitable for a shared device without appropriate controls.
Back up before clearing
Export a JSON project to keep a portable copy. Treat that file as sensitive: it can contain employee details and embedded images. Downloaded files are outside the application’s control.
Expiry and deletion
Saved browser records expire after 30 days and are removed when the app next opens. Clear local data removes saved application records; it cannot erase exported files from your device.
